I work with photography in both digital and traditional 35-mm formats.  My subject matter usually features abandoned or discarded objects that I often shoot in downtown Ames, IA, vacant homes and commercial buildings, and old farmsteads.  I am attracted to the texture and decaying quality in these found items and like to think of my photographs as an acknowledgment of their being, even after having been deserted or neglected by their owners.  I also use my photography in mixed media projects that focus on female body image.
